New Director for Honor Theatre Project, "Stefanie Hero"
Unfortunately, Paul Stetler has had to step down, but he has left us in very capable hands.
Welcome to Lori Peterman! Lori received her MFA in directing last year from UCSD. After receiving her BA from UCLA, she studied in Germany, Austria, Italy, Indonesia, Japan and Thailand. She is an acclaimed mask and puppet maker, an Artistic Associate of Theater Mitu and a member of Lincoln Center Directors Lab. An experienced teacher, she was also a favorite of students in the La Jolla Playhouse Conservatory this summer. She is currently teaching two classes at UCSD and has specific expertise in physical comedy. She is a great fit for this particular show and excited to get started on this project.
This is a great opportunity for students to work with an outstanding professional director with an amazing vision for creating theatre. Sign up your students for an audition now!
Shakespeare Festival Workshop This Thursday!!!
CPMA in Clairemont, 5050 Conrad Ave, 92117
Join me December 3rd, 4 – 6 pm, for this special workshop led by Sandi Buehner and Steve Lipinsky. These are the only people from the Shakespeare Fest that you will have to deal with!
By attending this meeting you will have taken care of all the requirements for participating in the Festival in April. For those of you interested in becoming a "Bravissimo" school, this is one of the required events.
Scared of Shakespeare? Our guest artists will make it very accessible. You don’t have to do Shakespeare in the classic style… mash it up and have some fun. Maybe Shakespeare a’la Glee?
Please let me know you are coming! If you cannot attend, but have an English teacher friend who would like to attend, please extend the invitation!
RSVP now so we can have materials prepared for you!
Need a quick lift before break?
